Common side effects of immunizations include soreness and redness at the site of the injection, irritability/fussiness, and/or mild fever. If your child experiences anything more severe, please contact your physician and report all severe reactions to one of the Community Health Nurses at the Whitehorse Health Centre. Consult your health care provider if side effects persist over 48 hours. If you are in a Yukon community outside of Whitehorse, please report the reaction to the local Community Nurse Practitioner.

Recommended for follow-up on foreign travel vaccines, influenza vaccine, adult Tetanus Diphtheria, and TB screening (Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
