Immunization Information

Immunization is the best way to protect yourself and your family members from many of today's diseases.

The Yukon's Immunization Program offers a wide variety of free vaccines for infants, children, youth and adults.

In Yukon communities, please contact your community health centre for immunization dates and times.

 

Immunization Drop-in Clinic Hours

The Whitehorse Health Centre has a number of drop-in times for Yukoners to receive their immunizations. Immunization drop-in times are:

Monday to Friday 
Monday to Friday 
1st and 3rd Saturday
of every month
(excluding long weekends)

8:00 am to 8:30 am
3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
10am to 11:30am - Children Only

TB Testing is Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00AM to 8:30AM and 3:00PM to 4:30PM.

Appointments are not necessary; you can drop-in during any of the times listed above.

CHILDREN’S HEALTH CLINIC APPOINTMENTS
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 9:00 - 11:15 a.m.
Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays: 1:00 - 3:15 p.m.
DROP IN
1st and 3rd Saturdays (except long weekends):
10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Catch-up immunization for infants and children only.
WEIGHT AND MEASURE DROP IN
Wednesdays: 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Immunizations are not given at this time.
BABY TALK
Wednesdays: 1:30 - 2:15 p.m.
Information sessions on topics of interest to parents.
ADULT HEALTH CLINICS
Immunization Clinics
Monday to Friday:
8:00 - 8:30 a.m., 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Recommended for follow-up on foreign travel vaccines, influenza vaccine, adult Tetanus Diphtheria, and TB screening (Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
FOREIGN TRAVEL CLINICS
By appointment only - call for an appointment six to eight weeks before departure or as soon as your plans are made.
