Embedding Calendars

1. You send us a request with some info.
2. We will email you the embed code.
3. You put the code onto your site.

Council of Yukon First Nations
and Yukon Health and Social Services
can provide advice on embedding
the calendar to your website,
but cannot make any changes
to your website for you

1Send us a request

To request access to add an existing events calendar to your website, email hss@gov.yk.ca.

To help us with your request, we need the following information:

    ☑ Name of your organization.
    ☑ URL of website or webpage to which you want to embed a community calendar..
    ☑ Provide a contact Name, Phone, and Email.
    ☑ URL of existing calendar that you would like to add to your site.
    ☑ List the type of calendar you would like. [see list below]

You will need to have space on your webpage for the calendar to fit. Here are the dimensions:

    ✔ Large calendar - (Your site/page must provide 890px space for IFrame)
    ✔ Small calendar - (Your site/page must provide 280px space for IFrame)
    ✔ Detailed calendar list - (Flexible size, not fixed as it is not in an IFrame)
    ✔ Small calendar list - (Flexible size, not fixed as it is not in an IFrame)

2We will email you the embed coding

When your request is received YG Health and Social Services and Council of Yukon First Nations will review for approval.

We will contact you to let you know if your request has been approved or not.

When your request is approved we will send an email with the embed code to the contact that you provided.

3Put the coding onto your site

It will be the requestor's responsibility to add the embed code to their website.

► After you've received the embed coding from us.

  1. Go to your webpage – html (using your html editor or content management system (CMS))
  2. 2. Put your cursor into the section of code where you want the calendar.
  3. 3. Paste Code
  4. 4. Save and publish your webpage – html (using html editor or content management system (CMS))
