Pre-School Dental Program
Yukon’s Pre-School Dental Program is for children, newborn to five years of age. It is recommended that your child visit a dental therapist or dentist before their first birthday.
Dental Health Starts at Birth.
On your child's first visit, they will receive a dental health basket full of information and dental health items to help keep their mouth and body happy and healthy. Each pre-schooler will receive an oral health passport booklet personalized with a photo at each visit to the dental therapist. The booklet provides age-appropriate information and tips on how to keep children’s mouths and teeth healthy.
Dental services provided by Yukon Children's Dental Program are supplied at no cost to the parent or guardian. They are covered by Yukon Health and Social Services.
