They are also responsible for administering Open Custody and Community Supervision sentences, either in a community-based caregiver home or at the Young Offenders Facility - Open Custody Wing.

Many programs are available for youth serving custody sentences (e.g. sports and recreation, fitness and nutrition, academic, First Nations culture, life skills and others).

Custody Services is active in case management and reintegration planning within Youth Justice and Regional Services.
