Accessibility Information

Transportation While in Whitehorse:
The conference host and accommodation facility for the Northern Energy Solutions conference is the Yukon Convention Centre/High Country Inn.  As all conference activities are in these facilities (located next to each other) there will be no transportation services to/from the facility.  Transportation arrangements will be made for delegates with special disABILITIES who choose to stay at a different accommodation facility.

Please be sure to list any specific accessibility needs you have in the "DisABILITY Accommodation Requirements” section of the on-line registration form. A planning committee representative will contact you closer to the conference to ensure your needs are met.

Public bus transportation is available for non-conference events as well. For transportation schedules and information on bus accessibility view the Whitehorse Public Transit.

Wheelchair Accessibility:
Although most stores and businesses in the Whitehorse downtown core are wheelchair accessible, some are not.  We have listed companies that can assist delegates who require specific accessibility requirements on the accommodation and transportation pages of this site. If you require assistance please itemize your requirements in the "DisABILITY Accommodation Requirements” section of the on-line registration form when you register and we will do our best to ensure your needs are met.
