Withdrawal Management (Previously known as Detox)
Our mandate is to provide a safe and secure environment for individuals going through withdrawal from the use of alcohol and or other drugs.
The Treatment Services Unit offers three treatment options: Counselling - including a groups, Intensive (live-in) Treatment programs, and Youth Treatment/Counselling.
Weekly drop-in recovery group meetings
Are you looking for support to reduce or abstain from substance use? Alcohol and Drug Services provides a weekly drop-in group where you can go for support. The group is a safe space for people to share, listen to others, and receive support.
Alcohol and Drug Services provides a range of services to all Yukon communities.
Fentanyl and Naloxone Information
Across Canada drug-related overdoses and deaths have become a serious concern. Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Brendan Hanley and his team are working to raise awareness and provide education on the danger of fentanyl and other high-potency opioid drugs.
