Pediatrician

The Government of Yukon is looking for a full time Pediatrician for the city of Whitehorse. The full-time Pediatrician will complement existing pediatric services provided in Whitehorse.

 

Whitehorse is a vibrant city located in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains, rivers and lakes. It also has an active and lively cultural scene, with many music festivals, art programs and theatre performances throughout the year. There are excellent English and French school systems. The Yukon’s population of 32,000 is served by 60 family practitioners and specialists in surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, anesthesia, pediatrics and psychiatrists. As well, a variety of visiting specialists provide services throughout the year.

 

Working arrangements are flexible. The successful candidate has the option of billing Fee-For-Service or, if preferred, the work could be provided through a contracted arrangement.
