We are looking for a mature, organized individual committed to the safety and wellbeing of our residents. You are an enthusiastic team player who has considerable experience preparing and serving meals to individuals and groups. You are an excellent communicator who is dedicated to working in an environment that promotes respect, safety and good quality food.

* Journeyman Cook Certification (Red Seal)
* Experience preparing meals for groups and individuals in a long term care setting.
* Foodsafe Level I
* WHMIS

Applicants with an equivalent combination of education and extensive experience may be equally considered.

Condition(s) of Employment: Pre-employment medical, TB testing, Security clearance required prior to hire.

Job Requirements(s): Exposure to animals in the Pet Therapy program; exposure to second-hand smoke when supervising residents/clients; shift work and week-ends; heavy lifting and bending, exposure to latex products.
